From MTV News, December 2000:

*NSync have released the announcement that they have switched record labels. They have broken their contract with Jive Records, and joined multi-billionaire Mason Lang's new label, SpyGame. This represents a huge increase in the earnings of SpyGame, who's most popular artist to date is the voodoo gangster rap band Root Doctaz.

Lance Bass, member of *NSync had this to say:

'This is a big change for us, and we think it'll be a change for the better -- SpyGame gives us the chance to really explore new sounds. We can't wait to work with Root Doctaz, and, hopefully, we'll come up with something that the fans will really love.'

On a related note, fellow bandmember JC Chasez has developed a new hobby -- collecting the works of cult horror author Kirk Morrison. He was recently seen at a London auction spending over £5000 on various Morrison memorabilia, including first editions and original manuscripts.
